Death
Today I attended an online funeral of a loved one. It felt like us being together or apart doesn't even make sense anymore. While in one view the life has come to a stand still but, in the other sense it is till rolling the dice. Nothing from nature has come to a halt. There are still earthquakes, floods, cyclones and other form of disasters hitting the globe every single day. And then there is death. Apart from the fact that death has become an every day news, (given that we live in COVID times). It doesn't make it less difficult neither does it help with the feeling of helplessness. But, it alarms us that all of us are walking towards the same destination, no matter which path we choose or which lane we prefer. Leaving this world is inevitable but, when we leave there will be things that people will remember and talk about. Some will be sad, some will be fine, some will be devastated but, there will be a few who will smile the very next moment. For example t...
Awesome analysis Juhi! I especially like the thought that since we were created with an instinct to survive through hunting, even after all this mammoth evolution, this instinct is primal and still valid. Since, we don't need to hunt animals for feeling powerful, we now hunt for ideas that make us feel victimised, and overcoming them would remind us of our power.
